Clarity and sharpness

When it comes to clear visuals, it is usually said as follows:
The clarity of this machine is very high, and the image is sharp.
So what is the relationship between "clarity" and "sharpness"?
To be precise, these are two relatively awkward and easily confused concepts.
Clarity refers to the clarity of the image.
For example, standard definition 720 * 576 and high-definition 1920 * 1080 represent clarity.
To be more precise, to what extent can the camera distinguish the details of an object?
There has long been a saying that after high-definition filming, the skin requirements for female anchors have increased.
It is due to clarity.
Did you have a small lump on your face when using standard definition?
If there is, there is. Anyway, the clarity of 720 * 576 cannot be distinguished......
When it comes to high-definition, with 1920 * 1080 resolution, you can see everything.
Hurry up and add the covering cream.....
Otherwise, I won't be able to read it anymore
Nowadays, clarity is generally nominal by resolution rate and objectively measured by the number of lines.
For example, a high-definition camera has a resolution of 1000 lines.
The clarity is determined by the camera.
No matter what lens you use, the camera is either high-definition or high-definition.
The small high-definition, 5D2, 5D3, 6D cameras we are currently using are all high-definition cameras.
So what is sharpness?
Sharpness mainly refers to whether the edges at the boundaries of objects in the picture are clear.
If the edges at the boundary of an object are clear, it means high sharpness.
If blurry, it means low sharpness.
If the sharpness of a picture is high, it will appear very clear.
If the sharpness is low, there will be some meat.
To be precise, sharpness is determined by the camera lens.
Many friends like to use movie lenses when filming.
It's because the sharpness of things shot through the lens in movies is very high.
And when filming TV dramas, I usually prefer Canon lenses because Canon lenses are sharper than Fuji lenses.
So what is the relationship between clarity and sharpness?
It can be said that sharpness is based on clarity, making the image clearer.
That is to say, whether the image looks clear or not is determined by two parameters: "clarity" and "sharpness".
To put it more directly, choose the camera model first to ensure clarity.
For example, if you choose EX280 or XF300, the clarity exceeds 1000 lines, which is sufficient.
Choose another shot and still discuss the two machines mentioned above.
The lens of XF300 is a quasi broadcast grade lens with high sharpness.
The lens of EX280 is worse and not sharp enough.
The captured image can be said to be very sharp on the XF300, while the EX280 has a very layered......
This is the relationship between clarity and sharpness.
Some friends have said that the higher the sharpness, the better?
This is not necessarily......
If the image is too high, there will be black and white double hatching, which is very unsightly.
I forgot the title of a TV drama that is currently being broadcasted.
It seems like something about Qinghai, including princes and others.
The sharpness has been increased too high, causing all the exterior shots to be shot.....
